{"id":16243,"date":"2026-01-09T16:56:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T21:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.darefoods.com\/?post_type=job&#038;p=16243"},"modified":"2026-01-09T16:57:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T21:57:15","slug":"sanitation","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/www.darefoods.com\/job\/sanitation\/","title":{"rendered":"Sanitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Afternoon shift: <\/strong>Sunday to Thursday; 3 PM to 11 PM\r\n<strong>Weekend shift: <\/strong>Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday; 7 am &#8211; 7 pm 36 hours.\r\n<strong>Rate:<\/strong> $26.40\r\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Demonstrate food safety and quality concepts (e.g. cleaning and sanitation of equipment) in a baking facility<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Maintain a high level of sanitation in all areas of the facility<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Complete all daily sanitation tasks, as per the Sanitation Checklist<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Responsible for additional weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual tasks as laid out by the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Properly document completed tasks on POKA and MSS tracker<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Operate floor scrubber machines<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and handled according to company standards<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the cleaning of production lines and ensures that lines are properly cleaned within the acceptable time frame<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Exposure to\/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Lockout- tag out experience<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Support in any additional required sanitation tasks on shift<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Qualifications and Skills:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Post-Secondary School Degree\/Diploma<\/li>\r\n \t<li>1-3 years relevant working experience in a food will be considered an asset<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Individual will need to be detail oriented which will ensure that the cleaning\/sanitation functions are executed according to the SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Experience with moving and dismantling equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Lockout- tag out knowledge<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Exposure to\/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ability to lift 25 &#8211; 40 kg on a continuous manual basis<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strong technical skills, and an analytical approach to problem-solving<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Afternoon shift: Sunday to Thursday; 3 PM to 11 PM Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday; 7 am &#8211; 7 pm 36 hours.
